Jubouri: National Guard law may go to the budget in 2016

BAGHDAD -
Iraqi forces favored the Union, on Saturday, to postpone the adoption of the National Guard Law to 2016 because of the many differences on it.
A member of the Union MP victory Jubouri: delay in approving the National Guard law within the government due to the pressure exerted by the National Alliance on the Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi,
especially after the end of the relevant Security Committee in the Chancellery of the National Security of the recent amendments to the draft law to be submitted to the Council of Ministers with a view to approval ".
She said al-Jubouri, said that "the new draft includes 30 articles amended after making some changes and amendments to delete and start over voting mechanism within the security committee, which includes representatives of all the components, according to the proportion of parliamentary seats."
And predicted that "faced with the proportion of provincial representation in the National Guard difficult to adjust because of the lack of a census special mixed governorates,
" pointing out that "the main adjustments made to the draft, which has been modified by the day centered on the arming of the National Guard,
which will be limited to medium weapons and light, in addition to the National Guard liaison to the central government in terms of management and arming and salaries and the percentage of representation of each province in the National Guard will be around only 3%.
