Legal Parliament: Mahmoud unacceptable and attempts to separate the Federal Court for the judiciary
Baghdad-Iraq-Presse -25 January: Parliamentary Legal Committee, announced on Sunday, for a parliamentary attempts to separate the Federal Court for the Iraqi judiciary, stressing that the majority of the political blocs refuse to stay Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud in office.
A member of the Committee MP for the coalition of citizen Salim Shawki in a press statement, "The Committee will begin the second reading of the law of the Federal Court, the House of Representatives and Snstqubl interventions and suggestions about modifying the law."
He Shawki, that "a lot of political blocs is not satisfied with the survival of Mahmoud President of the Court, because of his work with the previous period," noting that "the judiciary dropped the part of his prestige, due to political interference, which was accompanied by his decisions."
Shawki "We are with the separation of the Federal Court for the judicial authority, and to be an independent body be the effects, not the judiciary and politicians do not," explaining that "the Court has a great role because it separates the conflicts of political blocs and the appeals made to the courts" .anthy (1)
