Foreign parliamentary: Saudi Arabia will open its embassy in Baghdad next month in the presence of Al-Faisal
Confirmed to the parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations, Saturday that Saudi Arabia will open its embassy in Baghdad and its consulate in Arbil next month, pointing out that the opening ceremony will be attended by the Minister Saud al-Faisal Khajria.
Said committee member Mithal al-Alusi told / information /, "The opening of the Saudi embassy in Iraq is the beginning of the right steps towards strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries," noting that "the weight of Saudi Arabia has a large influence in the region."
He added that "despite the fact that the approach of the Iraqi and go where there is no clear lines so far, but we are optimistic about the new policy of the Kingdom and we want to express our sovereignty and our interests," he said, adding that "the gates of Iraq are open to anyone who wants to deal with us according brotherhood and common interests."
