A delegation of the parliamentary energy to visit the region next week to discuss oil deal with Baghdad

Announced by the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary, Kawa Mohammed, from visiting delegation from the Committee to Arbil in the next week to discuss with the Kurdistan Regional Government on the oil agreement with Baghdad.
He said Mohammed told all of Iraq [where], "A delegation from the province of Kurdistan, headed by Prime Minister Barzani will visit Baghdad for talks with Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and ministers concerned the oil agreement between the province and the center and remove the existing problems."
He added that "there is a visit to a delegation from the Committee on Oil parliamentary power to Arbil to meet with Barzani and the Minister of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Regional Government to discuss oil issues."
He pointed out that "the draft oil and gas law has not been raised in the Commission as being not up to the presidency of the parliament, and in the event of arrival will be transferred to the Oil and Energy Committee and then discuss it then refer it to the House of Representatives to read and approved."
The governments in Baghdad and Erbil, announced on the second of December last to reach an agreement in relation to oil exports and the region's share of the budget.
The agreement included the export of the Kurdistan region 250 000 barrels per day through Turkey's Ceyhan line with the export of 300 000 barrels of the province of Kirkuk fields through the same line, and delivery of their revenues to the federal government, which agreed to turn the Kurdish Peshmerga forces paying salaries as part of the Iraqi security system.
