BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - confirmed economist Majid picture, Thursday, that the origin of the tax system in force in Iraq is not used for economic goals.
Said Majid picture's (IMN), "The origin of the tax system currently applied unfairly, is not used for economic goals."
And that "the problem is at the origin of the system, which is used as a tool of discrimination tools." He pointed out that "the taxes that have been imposed are the needs and decisions of the vessels, to increase the current budget resources."
Suri said that "indirect taxes that target the middle and vulnerable segments and those with limited income are not yet calculated or determined by the competent authorities."
The government directed the ministries and provincial councils to increase its imports by finding alternatives to raise its revenues, to address the current austerity.
