Delegation «World Bank» agrees to support the Iraqi economy
Iraqi Prime Minister, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, said that his government would go ahead with the reform procedures for the Iraqi economy, and support the private sector and not to build on oil exports only.
This came during a meeting with al-Abadi, on Thursday, the Director of the World Bank in the Middle East, and North Africa, Fred Belhadj, the Special Representative of the Mission of the World Bank in Iraq Robert existence, to discuss the challenges faced by the Iraqi economy due to lower global oil prices, and the restructuring of the Iraqi economy, and rehabilitation and support the government and the private sector, and turn challenges faced by Iraq to the real opportunities and effective reform.
Abadi and pointed to the government's determination to activate the retirement system, guarantee the rights of all Iraqis, including those working in the private sector, he said, adding that there is a current projects for private sector development, and create new jobs.
