US Treasury confirms its readiness to provide technical support and advice to the Ministry of Finance

BAGHDAD / Sky Press / confirmed .. The US Treasury Department is ready to provide technical support and advice to the Iraqi Ministry of Finance and modernize the banking system.
A statement by the Ministry of Finance, received / Ski Press / copy of "The Minister Hoshyar Zebari met Andy Bockal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury, and discussed with him bilateral relations and prospects of cooperation between the two countries."
The statement added that "the two sides discussed during the meeting, which was attended by US Ambassador Stuart Jones, a number of issues of common interest, and build the capacity of the Ministry of Finance."
The two sides also discussed the challenges faced by the Iraqi economy and ways to overcome the current financial crisis and stimulate economic growth, a .anthy.
