Japan grants loan for Iraq to rehabilitee thermal power plant in Hartha Project

Baghdad (AIN) -Iraq’s Ambassador to Japan, Dr. Alaa al-Hashemi, representing the Government of the Republic of Iraq, signed an agreement of a Japanese loan for the rehabilitation of thermal power plant in Hartha Project (Phase IV).
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by AIN cited “From the Japanese side the agreement signed by the President of Japan International Cooperation Agency, as a representative of his country government.”
“The two sides expressed their common desire in the consolidation of relations between the two countries,” the statement concluded.
