Kurdistan Parliament: Baghdad imposed an economic blockade on the region

Accused the central government of the Kurdistan Regional Parliament of failing to honor the region's budget and send the salaries of its staff like other governorates, saying it still imposes an "economic blockade" on Kurdistan, as pointed out that Erbil has not seen any "change" after taking Haider Abadi prime minister. A media adviser to the parliament region Tariq essence of the "Arbil and Baghdad reached an agreement at the end of last year, but we did not find on the ground that there is application of the present Convention, a private aspect which relates to the commitment of Baghdad, sending the budget of the Kurdistan region and pensions staff like other governorates."
He essence, that "Erbil has committed to export oil, but the Baghdad government is still imposing an economic blockade on the region, and this negative impact on the progress of negotiations between the two sides," stressing saying, "We were optimistic after the assumption Abadi position, but we have not seen up to now any change in all files which was facing Iraq in the past. "
