MP for the rule of law Abd al-Hadi al-Saadawi, Wednesday, that the cost of the war against al " Daash "ranging between 5-10 million dollars a day, while pointed out that the government has allocated 38% of the budget for the expenses of war.
He said al-Saadawi told Alsumaria's News, "The state budget is now divided into two parts, the first goes to the state employees and other division salaries allocated to cover the current war against al Daash expenses," noting that "the cost of the war against the terrorist organization expenses ranging from 5-10 Million Dollar days may increase in some cases. "
He Saadawi, that "these amounts taxed much the state budget and impacted negatively on the federal budget the government and paid to the application of state of austerity on some service projects," adding that "the government has allocated 38% of the general budget of the security ministries and the expenses of the purchase of weapons, equipment and aircraft contracted by Iraq them right now ".
He pointed out that "those amounts strained state budget in light of the continued decline in oil prices, which is a huge amount allocated for the first time in Iraq to cover military operations, but it will not affect allocated to the provinces budgets," stressing that "the government is hoping for an increase in oil prices during the the next four months to cover a lot of expenses needed by the country. "
