Hakim urges for UNICEF to double its efforts to improve educational, medical fields in Iraq

Baghdad (AIN) -The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar Al-Hakim, called for the UNICEF to double its efforts to help improve the educational and medical situation in Iraq.
During his meeting with director of UNICEF office in Iraq, Hakim highlighted the need to support Iraq’s children and ensure their rights especially in the released areas after the displaced families’ return to their original areas.
Head of the UNICEF assured the Organization’s keenness to improve the children’s education in Iraq and help in returning the displaced families to their cities to provide suitable atmosphere for the children’s education.
