The Government decides to provide liquidity to banks and private sector support

Discussed by the Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister, Nuri shawis, Thursday, private banks and support orientation towards the market economy and contributing to the process of increasing the proportion of GDP through support to the private sector.
The Committee said in a statement received (newsletter) on, that ' the Commission discussed at the 8th meeting of private banks to support their role in the reconstruction and development of the country and to give them a wider area in the process of economic transformation towards a market economy and to contribute to the process of increasing the proportion of GDP-to support private sector activity '.
The Committee praised, it said, the role of the Central Bank of Iraq and the Trade Bank of Iraq in their support for the banks and the fact that the economic conditions affecting the country now require more support to those banks '.
The Commission, inter alia, resolution is ' (the Central Bank of Iraq and the Trade Bank of Iraq to provide liquidity to banks suffering from traumatic civil liquidity as a result find customers in reimbursement to those banks in Exchange for these banks to provide guarantees and bank guarantees acceptable to both sides) '.
The Committee also discussed the topic of banking policy pursued by the Trade Bank of Iraq, particularly the question of lending to the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Central Bank in the territory, since the Commission found as a financial professional and banking there is no loan granted by TBI to the two sides.
The Commission, according to the statement, that ' the Bank in light of the significant financial potential it continue funding all activities to achieve the confidence high as a financier for government sector ', pointing out that the State and the Iraqi Council of representatives assume the responsibility not to allow the promotion of rumors affecting financial reputation and prestige among the international banks '.
The Committee stressed the need to ' send the Trade Bank of Iraq its accounts audited financial statements to the relevant authorities in accordance with the principles of disclosure and transparency '.
The Committee is composed of the Deputy Prime روﮊ Nouri shawis as Chairman and membership of a number of Ministers and directors of the Central Bank and the Trade Bank of Iraq, the Prime Minister's advisers in addition to the poor economic and financial committees of the representative.
