Oil Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, on Monday, the government subsidized prices of petroleum products from the gas and gasoline will remain unchanged.
The oil minister said in a press statement, "The IMF insists on the lifting of subsidies and raise the prices of petroleum products, noting that he and together with the Finance Minister rejected the demand outright."
"The International Monetary Fund and bowed to the desire to keep the government support prices of petroleum products."
