Oil Announces keep the petrol and gas prices steady

The Minister of Oil, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, said on Monday that the government subsidized prices of oil products from the gas and gasoline, will remain unchanged, stressing not affected by these prices fluctuating foreign exchange rates.
The oil minister said in a press statement, received (news) copy of it today, that 'the IMF insists on raising the government support and raise the prices of petroleum products, noting that he and together with the Finance Minister rejected the demand categorically'.
He added that 'the International Monetary Fund and bowed to the desire to keep the government support for the prices of oil derivatives'.
