Lukoil" Russian respond to the request of the Ministry of Transport

Lukoil, the Russian company operating in the West Qurna 2 announced reduced production rate of 50 thousand barrels per day in response to the request of the Ministry of Transport. Said the managing director of the company in favor of-that "Lukoil has reduced the production of West Qurna, north of Basra from 2 400 000 barrels to 350 thousand barrels per day in response to the request of the Iraqi side. Of considered that "reducing production affects the economics of the project, although the company will continue to work in it, noting that the company is preparing for talks with the Oil Ministry to implement other projects in Basra."
