Iraq's oil exports are expected to increase by 550 thousand barrels per day this year

Under the Iraqi Oil Ministry, Fayyad Grace said his country lifted its crude oil production to 3.5 million barrels per day, noting that the production rates is going according to the ministry aimed to reach production of 6 million barrels per day in 2018 schemes.
The grace, the production of gas associated with oil , amounted to about 900 million cubic feet per day comes mostly from the fields of Basra. He explained that the production of the Kirkuk oilfields averaged 300 thousand barrels per day, within the amount of oil produced by the northern region of Iraq, amounting to 350 thousand barrels per day through the Turkish port of Ceyhan, to be sold to global markets through Iraqi Oil Marketing Company "Sumo". It is expected Iraq to increase oil exports by 550 thousand barrels per day this year, after agreeing to end differences with the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq, the increase include 250 thousand barrels of Kurdistan fields, and 300 thousand barrels of Kirkuk. He Undersecretary of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil Fayyad grace, that the production of the Kirkuk oilfields were significantly decreased due to the terrorist operations carried out by the organization 'Daash' in the north of the country, pointing to the exposure of a number of fields to sabotage operations.
