Oil Minister: We have asked the oil companies reduce costs

BAGHDAD
Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi said Tuesday that the oil ministry has asked foreign oil companies operating in Iraq under the licensing rounds to raise the production capacity of crude oil "retrenchment", due to lower oil prices in the global market.
Said Abdul-Mahdi on his page on the social networking site Facebook, "circulated Oil Ministry on the oil companies contracting with them after the decline in prices messages asking them to reduce costs, and the search for the equation to allow that corporate profitability rise if prices rose, and bear with us and diminished if dropped."
And hope "that companies seeking to reduce expenses, including profitability and increase our profitability at the same time."
And operate a giant oil companies in Iraq to increase crude oil production, including Exxon Mobil and American Lukoil Romería de El Rocío and Italy's ENI, British Petroleum and Shell UK and international oil company, China National and Malaysia's Petronas and Japex of Japan and France's Total, and other oil companies. \ ST \
