Talabani: Faili Kurds are receiving Baathist Saddamist treatment

Shafaq News / The Head of Kurdistan Alliance in the Iraqi parliament , Alaa Talabani expressed on Sunday, her regret because Faili Kurds are from the components of the Iraqi people and suffer so far from "injustice and Baathist dictatorship " Despite the passage of 12 years since the fall of the former regime . A statement by Talabani received by “Shafaq News", said that” Faili Kurds have faced rancor and hatred from the dictatorial regime because they were the first people who were aware that the peaceful struggle with dictatorship does not work, indicating that a significant portion began its armed struggle as did their own people in Kurdistan.
Talabani called and the executive and judiciary branches on the issue of Faili Kurds to comply with article 132 of the Constitution and the law No. 16 to compensate those affected by the previous regime, especially in the case of genocide, or the use of confiscated property on political, racial and sectarian reasons, stressing to work to speed up to facilitate all measures to ensure returning the rights of these citizens to give them the feeling that the competent authorities are aware of their pain and to feel that they will not be dealt with in chauvinism mentality of the previous dictatorship.
Talabani indicated that this treatment is forcing Failis to review the foreign department during their quest to obtain citizenship, demanding to open their own department function as victims of repression and deportation because dealing with them in the foreign department is implementing the same measures imposed by Law No. 666 issued by the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council.
In the same context, the Kurdish parties demanded the formation of a joint committee to follow up the issue of Faili Kurds and work to find appropriate solutions to end their suffering and pain and restore their rights and compensation for all material and moral damage caused to the
