Follow-up / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Jordan Ibrahim Saif said that the Jordanian government is negotiating with Iraq to import oil from it via the "Ceyhan," the Turkish port of a substitute for the former route of the transport by road tankers and stalled for over a year due to security disturbances.
Jordan's Al-Ghad newspaper quoted Saif as saying: "The government looked the middle of last month, with the possibility of Iraq Iraqi crude oil imports by sea from the port of Basra or the Turkish port of Ceyhan, where Iraq expressed his desire to agree, and will soon agree on the rest of the financial details."
On the oil to be established between the two countries pipeline project, Saif explained that "the Iraqi side, the end of last March to receive bids Mbdian of coalitions who chaired by each of the diamond Gobel (Mass Global Holding Group) and China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau, will the Iraqi side to provide the Jordanian side a copy of the presentations to be studied, and in light of our observations Send it will be a joint meeting with the Advisory SNC - LAVALIN to discuss the presentations and express an opinion about them; and to complete the necessary action in this regard.
