He said Ghadhban told / information /, that "the Ministry of Finance applied customs tariff on the southern border crossings law in Basra, Maysan and other southern provinces and excludes the Kurdistan region and Western ports of this law," noting that "this action Seychelles trade movement in the south and Anashha in North. "
"We are surprised by the government decisions that apply to the people of the center and south will not find her application in the western provinces or territory," adding that "the customs tariff law is a racist law and sectarian intended to punishment directed to the center and south and weaken the southern border crossings."
The President and some members of the Basra Governorate Council announced, the, April 23, for their rejection of the decision of the Ministry of Finance which requires the application of the customs tariff law issued in 2010, and called on the federal government to back down on its decision, which they saw as an attempt to hit the economy of the province in order to enhance the economic situation in the Kurdistan region.
The Ministry of Finance has delayed the work of the customs tariff law (in 2011) for an unspecified time, pointing out that the suspension of the operation of this law was to prevent a missile without causing a rise in commodity prices.
