Alliance MP for the National Razak al-Haidari , Monday, that the current parliamentary session will end without a new president of the alliance, attributing due to differences on this post. He said al-Haidari told a news briefing child "Iraq Law", "The President of the National Alliance until now is the former boss Ibrahim al-Jaafari, was chosen as the new president," noting that "the reason for this is the lack of parties of the National Alliance agreement on a figure for this position." He said al-Haidari "I think that the current parliamentary session will end without a new president of the Alliance," attributing the reason for this is to "disputes and differences within the coalition on the choice of his head." The MP from the Bloc citizen Habib Terminal, in the April 23, 2015, that the head of the Islamic Supreme Council Ammar al-Hakim has the specifications required by the National Alliance, noting that al-Hakim was the appropriate figure for the presidency of the coalition at the current stage. The presidency of the National Alliance remained vacant since the former boss Ibrahim al-Jaafari 's Foreign Ministry tasks, in (8 September 2014), and consultations continued between the components of the coalition to elect a new president of the alliance.
