BAGHDAD / Obelisk: decided Dhi Qar Provincial Council, Wednesday, disable the official work day on Thursday, the official circles in the province, on the occasion of a visit Imam Kadhim (AS).
He said the provincial council member Abdul-Rahman al-Tai, "The province of Dhi Qar Council decided to disable the official working hours, for a day Thursday in conservative circles, on the occasion of a visit Imam Kadhim (AS)."
Tai said that "the decision was made to allow the people of the province to perform the rituals of the visit."
The Cabinet decided, in (12 May 2015), disable the official working hours in the capital Baghdad on Wednesday and Thursday to mark the visit of Imam Kadhim (AS).
It also decided the provinces of Muthanna, Diyala and Babil, disable the official work day on Thursday in its departments on the occasion of the official visit of Imam Kadhim (AS).
It is noteworthy that mean millions of Muslims annually Kadhimiya city north of the capital Baghdad, to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Musa al-Kazim (AS), while the security forces deliberately to take strict measures and cut some roads and streets.
