5/14/2015
Khandan - proposed Chairman of the Armed Services Committee in the US House of Representatives (Mac Thornberry), amendments to the items included in the defense budget project for 2016, on US military support for Iraq And raised items related to this support wrath of some parties in Iraq, especially since they impose conditions on the Baghdad government in exchange for support, most notably giving the Sunnis and the Kurds a greater role in decision-making, but the United States has Tmayorma weapons without reference to Baghdad.
Thornberry said in a press statement, said that the proposed amendments aim to clarify that "we are not trying to divide Iraq or dealing with the parties within it as separate states," but rather to encourage all parties to fight this common enemy represented by the organization "Daash" terrorist.
He stressed that the project items related to US military support for Iraq, non-interference in the sovereign decisions taken by the Iraqis on their country's situation, stressing that the concern expressed by some Iraqi political forces of the draft budget was based on "incorrect interpretation".
It is scheduled that the US House of Representatives is debating a law the US defense budget for 2016 on Wednesday.
