CNN -Kuwait stresses the pursuit of Baghdad after the liquidation of Iraqi Airways

The head of the Kuwaiti parliament, Jassem Kharafi, that the Kuwait Airways Corporation will proceed to take action against the Iraqi side, to protect their legal rights, after the decision to dissolve the government in Baghdad and the liquidation of Iraqi Airways.
He called Al-Kharafi, in remarks to reporters in Kuwait City, Thursday, to the need to reach the Kuwaiti and Iraqi sides to "an acceptable outcome," and expressed his hope that "wisdom will prevail," between the two neighbors.
The President of the Kuwaiti National Assembly that "if the Iraqi side of the right to take measures it deems appropriate, it is the duty of the Kuwaiti side as well, to take legal action to protect his rights", as quoted by the Kuwaiti News Agency.
The pay dispute between the two sides on war reparations, as well as to prosecute, Kuwait, Iraqi Airways, the latter to reduce its flights to Britain and Sweden, also caused by its inability to buy new planes.
The Iraqi Council of Ministers issued a resolution Tuesday to dissolve the national air carrier and the liquidation of its assets, a decision which went into effect Wednesday, according to the spokesman of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Kausar Aqil.
Kuwait alleges that Iraq has seized on its fleet of aircraft during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990, a British court recently froze the assets of the Iraqi company, at the request of Kuwait Airways.
Kuwait says that when the oldest Saddam Hussein's army to invade the country appreciates what the Iraqis stole about $ 1.2 billion of aircraft and spare parts.
