Head of Sunni Endowment appointed

Shafaq News / Political sources revealed that the National Forces Alliance has named the head of the Sunni Endowment, which is currently managed by a deputy. The Sunni Endowment now oversees all Sunni mosques and management, the first Head of the endowment after 2003 was Adnan al-Dulaimi, appointed in accordance with the Iraqi interim Governing Council resolution.
Then Abdul Razzaq al-Samarrai served as the Head of the Sunni Endowment for years before entrusting his duties to Mahmoud al-Sumaidaie , his former deputy.
A source in National Forces Alliance told Shafaq News, it has been agreed on naming the cleric Abdullatif Hamem as the head of Sunni Endowment by most members.
Hamem was born in 1952 in Anbar province, he is the Secretary General of scholars and intellectuals of Iraq group, and former Secretary-General of the World Islamic People's Conference and manager of the Iraqi al-Hadath satellite channel.
According to "al-Raseed Encyclopedia site, close associate to the Baath Party, Hamem has the famous saying "Saddam is fairest then Omar, courage as Ali and smart as Muawiya."
But Hamem is famous for saying, "In politics , there is no absolute, but all variables and endings are open, so there is a difference in vision and treatment."
