Trade announces a turning Iraq into a grain exporter within two years

BAGHDAD / JD / .. Ministry of Commerce announced on near Iraq turned from a net importer of grain to the source in the next two years as a result of the increase in marketed grain from farmers and peasants amounts which exceeded two million tons this season so far.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Commerce received / JD / copy of it : The Director General of the General Company for Grain Trade Saad Faris al-Hamdani said during the word Iraq in the International Grains Council primarily in London that Iraq is making strenuous efforts to support grain cultivation and there are significant developments in Iraq's transition from importing country for grain to the source as a result of what gets made in agriculture grain in all regions of the country as a result of the support given by the Iraqi state to grow so kind of important strategic crops that underpin food security in Iraq.
He said in a speech Iraq, which is an important member of the International Grains Council that Iraq has a great ambition of turning the day into a reality as a result of cultivated quantities and marketed to the Centers for delivery it is hoped to be an important cause of the conversion to an exporter of grain, adding that Iraq is open in the previous Astiradth the best global origins (Canada - US - Brazilian) to supply the needs of grain to cover the need of the Iraqi family in the ration card project is backed by the state of Iraq for many years.
The International Grains Conference is a high-level forum which meets senior private sector representatives, government officials and members include the 27 member 17 of them importing Member and 10 members of exporters.
