BAGHDAD / Sky Press: parliamentary source disclosed, Thursday, about the existence of a parliamentary unremitting efforts to bring down the charges for required to eliminate terrorism crimes Tareq al-Hashemi and his return to the country.
The source for "Sky Press," that "a number of deputies National Forces Alliance are making strenuous efforts to convince the political blocs in order to drop the charges against former Vice President of the Republic required to eliminate Tariq al-Hashemi on terrorism charges, and his return to the country."
The source, who requested anonymity, said that "most of the political blocs expressed willingness to drop the charges against Hashemi except for the rule of law, and there are efforts to convince them."
The Iraqi judiciary issued earlier sentenced to death in absentia against former Vice President of the Republic and the fugitive to Turkey Tariq al-Hashemi.
