UN renews support for Iraq

The representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jan Kubis United Nations is ready to provide all forms of support needed for Iraq.
According to a statement of the Ministry of Defense said, "Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi, received in his office in Baghdad representative of the United Nations, where al-Obeidi briefed about the nature of the preparations carried out by the ministry to launch a major edit operations for the remainder of the areas controlled by Aldoaash".
Obeidi stressed "the importance of the role that could be played by the United Nations in helping the Iraqi government's efforts in the field of relief to the displaced and to support the reconstruction of the liberated areas."
For his part, he praised the representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations security forces courageously in the face of the forces of terrorism, stressing that "the United Nations is ready to provide all forms of support needed for Iraq, particularly in the areas of humanitarian and relief operations and sheltering displaced people and the reconstruction of the devastated areas."
