Tomorrow Press / Baghdad: The Ministry of Finance, on Sunday, a contract with the Officer of the World Bank to lend Iraq $ 350 million for the rehabilitation of some sectors such as health and electricity.
Said Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari during the signing of the contract and attended "tomorrow Press," that "the Ministry of Finance today signed a loan for the reconstruction of the liberated areas by organizing Daash agreement," noting that "the Iraqi government has asked since April loan from the World Bank to help Iraq." He said "The amount that was signed lend $ 350 million and is divided as follows, and the Ministry of Electricity up to $ 67.5 million, for the reconstruction of the infrastructure for transmission and distribution of energy", adding that "the Ministry of Municipalities and their share of the loan 58.5 million to repair infrastructure related to water, sewage and solid waste and design development for implementation, and the Ministry of Construction and Housing share of the loan $ 117 million to repair roads and bridges destroyed in some areas and preparation of plans and designs for the infrastructure. " He added that "the Ministry of Health share of the loan $ 37 million for the rehabilitation and restoration of hospitals and mobile clinics nature and ambulances, in addition to the aid artistic worth $ 22 million, and the preparation of plans for local administration in some of the liberated areas. " He pointed out that "the remaining 45.8 is not intended currently at the present time, hoping to use it to sectors that can finance," he said. "We have agreed with the World Bank on the financial terms of the Bank International which includes the loan for 15 years at an interest rate of one percent. "
