Government announces: Eid al-Fitr holiday five days

The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, on Tuesday, the disruption of the official working hours for all official circles from Sunday to Thursday next week. The Secretariat said in a statement it issued, today, it's 'decided to disable the official working all circles from next Sunday until Thursday of next week'. The Secretariat added that 'this holiday came on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr'. And it announced that the Kurdistan Regional Government, in the July 20, 2014, disable the official working for a week on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. And Eid al-Fitr is the first Muslim holiday, which is celebrated on the first day of the month of Shawwal, then followed by the Eid al-Adha in the month of November, which comes after the fasting month of Ramadan, where the first day when Muslims break the fast after the fasting month
