Sunday, 19 July, 2015
Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said on Saturday that gone is the era of threat and intimidation and the Iranian people, enduring all pressures, should be spoken to with the language of respect.
In a phone call with a televised program, Zarif said anybody threatening an Iranian has not gained a good result.
Zarif touched on his team’s success in talks with the G5+1, which resulted in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and said public prayers were source of support for the Iranian negotiators.
He said Iranian people are resisting on the one hand, while going for engagement on the other hand.
He added that the people act with wisdom and prudence not paying attention to anything but God Almighty. ‘Iranian people consider other powers empty inside,’ he added.
‘Collection of the very nice features of Iranian nation testify that they are a reliable backing for anybody wishing to serve the country in the diplomatic domain,’ added the Minister./End/
