Twilight News / Deputy Prime Minister Bahaa al-Araji said on Tuesday that the Council of Ministers to reduce the financial allocations of Iraqi presidencies are the senior officials in the state.
He said in a statement responded to Twilight News, that "the Council of Ministers today decided to reduce the allocation of the three presidencies and ministers and members of the House of Representatives and agents ministers and advisers and those with special grades and rank shall be fixed, as well as the three presidencies staff and all bodies and departments associated."
He noted that "this decision was made to apply the principle of social solidarity and reduce the differences between the layers of Iraqi society as well as support for the war effort."
Araji said that "the Council of Ministers is the body responsible for implementation of the financial policy of the state according to the constitution, but there is no law defines the presidency and the parliament salaries they will receive as much as they receive a head and deputy members of the Council of Ministers."
