Parliamentary Finance determines next October as the date to send the 2016 budget

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - the parliamentary finance committee demanded, on Wednesday, the federal government sent the draft budget law for 2016 in the month of next October, noting that it will put pressure on expenditure is expected to reduce the fiscal deficit.
He said Finance Committee member Jabbar Abdul-Khaliq's (IMN) "The Committee began to move to work in the 2016 budget," stressing that "the Commission formally asked the Ministry of Finance and Planning to send the draft 2016 budget through next October month."
The MP for the rule of law high Nassif confirmed that the payment on credit projects will fall upon the 2016 budget and debt funds, pointing out that the government must negotiate with reputable companies to be transferred on credit projects.
Abdul-Khaliq said that "the next budget will pressure expenses and austere due accounts and expectations not to provide financial liquidity," noting that the House will work on the completion of the budgets of the Supreme Judicial Council, human rights and those associated with the House of Representatives.
The parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed in a previous orientation time to cut ministries, agencies and government entities expenses to the lowest level in order to reduce the fiscal deficit in the federal budget size.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the fiscal deficit in the previous budget exceeded the 36 trillion dinars after the rise in the size of the budget to more than 171 trillion dinars.
