Abadi: Iraq began using the reserve stock and water because of low water levels

(Independent) .. announced Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, about Iraq's use of reserves and stock water because of low water levels, pointing out that Iraq is supposed to be is received thousand cubic meters per second between the Tigris and Euphrates, while now we receive 330 cubic meters, which means a third of the amount. Ebadi said while chairing a meeting with the governors and heads of provincial councils for the transfer of powers, that Iraq gets a third of its value established between the Tigris and Euphrates, forewarned of the collapse of the electricity system because of the large demand for them. And the detection of low water levels also affected the production of electric energy, and continued: we did not resort to extinguish the electrical system, despite high temperatures and the increasing demand for displays that may collapse. He stressed that Iraq began using its stock reserves of water due to low water levels. (End)
