Maliki and Allawi are refusing to resign from their posts

The MP said the Liberal block Awad al-Awadi, that "the President of the Republic Fuad Masum, met last night in his office with his deputies Nuri al-Maliki and Iyad Allawi, Osama al."
Al-Awadi said that al-Maliki and Allawi rejected their resignation and abandon their posts as Vice-President of the Republic as a rejection of reforms announced by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi package and approved by the Council of Ministers yesterday, "he says.
He explained that "Osama Najafi is the only one among the Vice-President, who submitted his resignation to infallible." Without giving further details.
It has not yet issued any official statement confirms or denies the validity of that.
