Detection Regional Parliament Member Kurdistan Georges Jacob, Friday, about the existence of signs of resolving the crisis presidency of the region, as he emphasized that all the leaks stating the accession agree to the extension of the current President of the region , Massoud Barzani . Said Georges in an interview with Alsumaria News , "What stood for continuous three days ago meetings on the presidential crisis in Kurdistan refers to the existence of signs of resolving the crisis and solving forms-based political consensus," noting that "the overall leaks and opinions indicating that there is consensus on the extension of the Barzani two years others or until the end of the current session of the Parliament of the region. " Georges said that "the remaining differences on the crisis presidency of the region centered on the powers of the president," stressing at the same time "the existence of international interventions and posts in the meetings."
It is said that the Kurdistan region is currently experiencing a heated debate on the issue of the presidency of the Kurdistan region, especially after the end of the mandate of the regional president Massoud Barzani, on Thursday (20 August 2015), and the assumption by the President of the Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament temporarily for two months, while the Kurdistan Democratic Party calls for extending the mandate of Barzani all existing powers for another two years with support for the establishment of the parliamentary system in the region and the distribution of powers between the constitutional institutions.
