Al-Jaafari confirms that Iraq is a fertile environment for investment

Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari said on Saturday that Iraq is a fertile environment for investment and looks forward to the friendly countries to contribute its construction and reconstruction.
The Foreign Ministry said in a press release that “al-Jaafari met with Ambassador of Ukraine Anatoly Marinc in Baghdad, and discussed with him means of strengthening the prospects for cooperation and common issues between the two countries.”
Al-Jaafari said during the meeting, according to the statement that “there are several areas of cooperation between Iraq and Ukraine must be activated with respect to security, economic and military aspects,” and urged the Ukrainian government to “provide support for the Iraqi community living in the capital Kiev.”
