War: Maliki's coalition will not be able to dismiss Saleem al-Jubouri
Baghdad-Iraq Press -5 September / September: Iraqi law expert Tariq Harb ruled out being able to State of Law coalition led by former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to get a full quorum to dismiss parliament speaker Salim al objection against the backdrop of the Coalition on the al-Jubouri's visit to Qatar.
Said Tariq Harb in a press statement on Saturday, "The State of Law coalition has 91 seats in the House of Representatives will not be able to dismiss Saleem al-Jubouri, head of parliament from his post," referring to the need for the coalition to the approval of a majority of members up to 175 deputies to dismiss al-Jubouri.
He said the legal expert, "Many of the Shiite political bloc does not have a trend that holds Maliki's coalition in its endeavors to dismiss Saleem al-Jubouri," stressing that "this is difficult to achieve."
The head of parliament Saleem al-Jubouri has defended his visit to Qatar last Thursday, denying that his visit related conference hosted by Doha on Iraq, attended by a number of Iraqi political opposition figures.
He stressed Jubouri, according to a statement his office that "his visit to Doha, the capital, which has only eight hours confined to continue to meet with Qatari officials only," adding that he "did not meet with any Iraqi figure in Doha."
In a related context, the statement of the Office of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said he told al-Jubouri not to visit Qatar after consultations with him.
