Radisson Blu Hotel Announced for Erbil

Carlson Rezidor, the international hotel group with over 1,300 hotels in over 100 countries, has announced that it has finalized a deal for a new hotel,*3kms from Erbil International Airport.
According to Gulf News,*the*260-room hotel will be located in the Western suburbs and contain an all-day dining restaurant, speciality restaurant, lobby bar, meeting rooms and ballroom, gym and spa.
Marriot International, Hilton and Sheraton all have projects in the capital of the Kurdish autonomous region (KRI) undeterred by sporadic fighting with ISIS on the fringes of the KRI. Security threats to Kurdish areas have lessened recently following a string of Kurdish-Coalition victories.
