Iran exports more than 560 million litres of diesel to Iraq

Countries have signed agreements and MoUs in industrial, agricultural and commercial fields The National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) announces that Iran’s exports of diesel oil during the past five months of the year to Iraq reached 560 million litres. The company confirms that the value of exported fuel reached $250m. The managing director of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, Nasser Sajjadi, says in a press statement to Iranian News Agency (IRNA) that the “Iranian Government signed a contract with Iraq to export diesel fuel.” He adds, “The value of Iran’s diesel fuel exports to Iraq reached [approximately] 560m litres during the past five months of the year 2015.” Last month, the Iranian Oil Ministry revealed the opening of an office for NIOPDC in Iraq, adding that Iran is seeking to expand its engineering and technical services in the oil and gas industries field in neighbouring countries.
