KRG announce raising the ceiling of its oil production to 700 thousand barrels per day

Baghdad,
said Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Parliament Dilshad Shaaban, on Friday, that the region raise the ceiling on its oil production to 700 thousand barrels per day 0.550 thousand of the fields of the region, and the remaining 150 from the Kirkuk fields.
Shaaban stressed in a press statement that "the oil of Kirkuk, which exported via the pipeline Kurdistan oil - Ceyhan, supervised by the Iraqi oil marketing company SOMO, and the proceeds go to the Iraqi government."
He added that "the level of export of oil from the fields of the region will certainly rise if the payment of oil companies operating in Kurdistan, up to a day to 900 thousand barrels of oil a day."
