House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri called for the prime minister to speedily re-laws withdrawn from Parliament with a view to the amendment.

"
He said al-Khafaji, "The President of the Council sees the delay in the return of those laws from the government to the parliament upheaval for the work of the House of Representatives, and a delay with its obligations to the people who expected to pass important laws, such as freedom of expression and peaceful demonstration laws, and the law of public holidays, which many complain deputies from plentiful, and Ashoaiatha and the lack of clarity, in addition to its impact on the national economy and waste of people's money that is desperately needed in these tough economic conditions experienced by Iraq. "
