Electoral Commission confirms its readiness to implement the law of parties

BAGHDAD - News today Independent Electoral Commission confirmed on Tuesday its readiness to implement paragraphs Parties Law No. 36 of 2015, as drawn to work to create all the procedures and instructions for implementation and everything related to the application of the law as soon as it enters into force.
A member of the Board of Commissioners and Commission spokesman Mekdad Sharifi said in a statement received by the agency news of the day a copy of it, "The Commission is ready to implement the law of parties, passed by the House of Representatives in the twenty-seventh of August, and endorsed by the President of the Republic Fuad Masum," stressing "the formation of committees competent for the implementation of paragraphs of the law and cooperation with political parties to provide all possible facilities to complete their holidays according to the law and approved by Headquarters and controls to be adopted for implementation."
He said Sharifi, that "The Commission will coordinate with political parties and entities to hold many workshops and seminars have, as well as the media and civil society organizations regarding the explanation of the law and implementation mechanisms," noting that "the legal term that have been identified for implementation is 60 days after publication in the Gazette of Iraq Official".
