An explosive device, exploded, this evening, near a popular soccer field, in the Zaafaraniya district, killing one person and wounding six others.
BAGHDAD / Obelisk: the establishment of a security source said gunmen killed a captain working in the FPS and theft associate salaries which are estimated at 100 million Iraqi dinars in Shaab district in Baghdad.
The source said, in the Interior Ministry, on Thursday, that seven people had been killed and wounded when a roadside bomb near a popular football field, south of Baghdad.
The source said, "The explosive device, exploded, this evening, near a popular soccer field, in the Zaafaraniya district, killing one person and wounding six others."
The source, who asked not to be named, said: "security force rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the body of the dead man to the forensic medicine department, while cordoned off the scene and prevented the approach it."
