Secretariat: Financial problematic prevent the complete water project Rusafa done by 98%

It confirmed the secretariat of Baghdad, on Saturday that the water project Rusafa completed by 98%, attributed the reason for not fully accomplished to financial problems, while the French made it clear that the executing company "Dkrmont" of the world's best companies in the field of water.
He said the media director of the Secretariat Hakeem Abdul-Zahra in an interview with Alsumaria News, said, "the great Rusafa water project was completed by 98%," noting that "the completion of the project would feed the city of Baghdad with drinking water until 2030".

He said Abdul-Zahra, that "with the company's financial problems preclude done," noting that "the company demanding advances owed by 130 billion dinars in order to complete the project."
He explained Abdul-Zahra, "there later extended to the company obliges the Secretariat should be deducted from the amounts due, and therefore, there are legal forms which Mocal to eliminate," pointing out that "the Secretariat could not financial liquidity solution under the current circumstance, because it fears its exposure accountable ".
He stressed Abdul-Zahra, that "the company promised the Secretariat to complete the project soon," noting that "French Dkrmont company is one of the world's best companies in the field of water."
And the Rusafa water project is one of the largest strategic projects being implemented by the secretariat of Baghdad in the capital and has a total production capacity of 2.00025 million cubic meters per day and will provide the entire city of Baghdad and its outskirts with drinking water until 2013.
The Council of Ministers approved in August of 2008 at the Rusafa water project contract with the company "Dkrmont," a coalition of Iraqi companies - French, at a cost of billion dollars to provide safe drinking water to the city of Baghdad.
