Khalati confirms the importance of the federal government and Parliament intervention in calming the situation in Kurdistan
{Baghdad: Euphrates News} MP on the mass of the citizen Hassan Khalati, on Wednesday the importance of the federal government and the parliament to dissolve crisis intervention Kurdish parties and demonstrations in the region as part of Iraqi Kurdistan State CEO by the Prime Minister.
He said Khalati told {Euphrates News} that "Article 78 of the Constitution stipulates that the prime minister is the chief executive officer of the state," adding that "the state include the provinces and territories, including the Kurdistan region."
Khalati and expressed his regret for what happened in the Kurdistan region of clashes and the occurrence of the victims, stressing that the state "must intervene and give its opinion and offer suggestions to find a solution to the dispute, especially since there are appeals from the protesters."
He said the "prime minister Haider al-Abadi has sent a message asking for the truce," explaining that "to intervene to calm the situation in Kurdistan should be a parliamentary and government level."
