Oil Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, the ministry's keenness to create a safe environment to attract investments that are in the interest of the oil sector.
A statement by the Ministry of Oil and our economy news agency received a copy of it on Monday, "The Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi met with Sergei Nikiforov, Vice President of the Russian company Lukoil, and his accompanying delegation."
The minister stressed the keenness of the ministry to create a safe environment to attract investments that are in the interest of the oil sector, and elevate the oil industry in the country.
The minister praised the role of Russian companies in the development and increase production at the West Qurna / 2, which was won by the oil licensing rounds in the field.
For his part, reiterated his company's commitment to developing Nikiforov work in the oil field, and increase production.
