Parliament discusses 2016 budget

BAGHDAD / Obelisk: the House of Representatives began on Tuesday, the first reading of the draft budget law for fiscal 2016, while the presidency of the Council decided to postpone the vote on the draft legal freedom of expression and the Martyrs Foundation.
A parliamentary source said that the 'House of Representatives began the first reading of the draft budget for fiscal 2016 Act'.
The source, who asked not to be named, said: 'Presidency of the parliament decided to postpone the vote on the draft freedom of expression and assembly and peaceful protest law to next Thursday, as well as the draft law to the Martyrs Foundation Saturday'.
The House of Representatives held on Tuesday morning, under the chairmanship of its 35th Saleem al-Jubouri and the presence of 228 deputies.
