(Independent) .. Dhi Qar Provincial Council discussed on Sunday, with a group of Iranian companies the possibility of establishing power stations solar-powered through investment.
The head of the Council Hamid Naeem Gazan, "A group of Iranian companies met with him and members of the Board and discussed with them the possibility of its contribution to the implementation of several investment projects, especially in the field of construction of power stations solar-powered."
He pointed out that "companies delegation presented investment deals in the field of electric power and declared the readiness of companies to build power stations solar-powered and contribute to resolving the electricity crisis plaguing the province," noting that "the relevant committees in the Council will study the offers and the cost and duration of achievement and similar projects for those companies in the Iran and neighboring countries for presentation to the general assembly of the Council. "
President of the Council stressed that "the province has all the ingredients that qualify it to be fertile ground in which to invest and factor encouraging global investment firms, particularly in the implementation of strategic projects that are lacking in the province, as well as projects for the construction of power stations."
Gazan He continued that "the local government and the priorities of its work supporting the sector to invest in the shadow of the financial crisis experienced by the country, and is the perfect solution to the crisis, and will ease the burden on the state and will provide job opportunities for the people of the province."
For his part, the Iranian delegation companies desire the implementation of investment projects and the construction of power stations solar-powered in Dhi Qar because of its security and a stable political situation, and praised the support of the local government for them and facilities which announced the submission to them.
He said managing director of the Iranian engineers' biggest Sadeghi "The delegation of the companies discussed with the province electricity file Council and the problems experienced by the province this sector, adding that he had submitted suggestions and solutions effective to solve the electricity crisis through modern methods for the production of electricity, especially through solar energy.
Adding that a preliminary agreement had been with the local government to study the matter and give a full file special counseling and works of art carried out by those companies in Iran and neighboring countries.
