Talabani meets Maliki to discuss progresses
As the 100 days deadline ends Iraq President Jalal Talabani talked over with Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki in Baghdad the latest progresses. During the meeting they discussed political and security situation in the country and means to overcome obstacles impeding the political process and democracy.
The two officials discussed as well finding the appropriate ground that would hel to bridge the gap between the different political parties in the country. Maliki and Talabani stressed that it is necessary to make practical steps in order to ameliorate the performance of services directorates, security ministries and specialized government institutions.
The ideas of both parties were in complete harmony in all the discussed issues, the source said.
